Here's the hardest games in no particular order, and why I think they're so hard. I'll update this whenever I can. Please continue to send me more examples I may have missed!

Leaker-Really tough, mainly due to the layout and controls. No save feature either. The robot is more annoying and much less amusing than the one in Give Up, and that little button with a big E on it? If you click that, you exit the game and lose all your progress. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUU-

I wanna be the flash game-Cheap deaths everywhere, and even when you know where every event happens it’s still a pain to beat. The final boss is very hard, yet also quite fun. Overall, I think this game was hard, but just not AS hard as some others.

Ball Revamped-I don’t get why people say Give Up is so hard. If you want a really hard game by jmtb02, check out his Ball Revamped series. Now here’s a game with really fiddly controls. I think the hardest one may actually be the first game, but I may be wrong. Even factoring in the random powerups, there’s so much you have to go through just to get to the next level.

Give up robot-A classic difficult game. It’s actually easier than many games on this list, though.

Lastman-*I've heard it's actually impossible, so until I find out otherwise I'm disqualifying it from the list*

Obsolescence-Dear god, why?! This I know will get a high ranking on the list. Insanely hard after the 5th level, only three hits, three lives, and no continues, and level 10 is the toughest action shooter level I’ve ever seen.

N game 2-Really disappointing considering how great N Game was. It’s not like N Game 2 added things that were bad, it’s that it hardly added anything at all! But that’s a rant for another time. Why is it on the list? Why, the extremely hard levels, the overuse of rockets and drone formations, and the very fiddly controls which not only takes a long time to master but also require very, very precise input to do what you want it to. N Game 2: You can do whatever you want, but it’s still hard as s***. Edit: I just finished the game, and the fun-lockables are making me seriously consider putting this at the very top of the list. I mean, god damn, 10 episodes without the timer resetting?! I'm a gaming masochist, and even I say that's going way too far!

Fuzzy things-GOD DAMN THIS GAME. It’s the most annoying thing I’ve played; worse than Leaker or IWBTFG or even Bullet Bill! Same problem with controls as N Game: you have to be quite precise with your input and even then it doesn’t always do what you intended. Level 4 (the sewer one, in case I counted wrong) is the highlight of why this game is so difficult. One-hit K.O.s, unpredictable jets of steam, and very little margin for error. Note the lack of checkpoints in the sections, the fact that if you quit at section 3 you still start again at section 1, and just how long level 4 is.
